Modern Architecture Meets Rural Tradition in the Umbrian Hills
Restoration Concept
An ancient stone farmhouse has been renovated with a contemporary approach while preserving its original essence. The project enhances the stone masonry and characteristic architectural elements, carefully removing inappropriate alterations.
Interior Spaces
The interior spaces unfold around generous volumes, characterized by exposed wooden beam ceilings and terracotta floors, which integrate with traditional details reinterpreted in a modern key.
The living room, featuring a stone fireplace built using reclaimed demolition materials, represents the heart of the home, while the dining area balances rustic elements with contemporary finishes.
Swimming Pool and Landscape
Outside, the swimming pool, defined by clean and essential lines, blends naturally into the landscape, surrounded by a well-kept lawn and Mediterranean vegetation.
The outdoor areas, sheltered by wooden and stone pergolas, provide welcoming spaces for relaxation and social gatherings, overlooking the surrounding countryside.
An old annex was demolished and rebuilt to make way for a guest house with a portico facing the pool, as well as a spacious underground garage.
A project that combines local identity with contemporary architectural language, creating an environment where tradition and comfort coexist in harmony.
