The design choice was to place the new built volume detached from the original structure to ensure a correct historical reading.

The new building will feature a green roof to blend more effectively into the landscape and will be clad in stone. The glazed surfaces will be screened by a brise-soleil where climbing plants will grow to provide the necessary shade.

Old and new interact in harmony with each other and with the surrounding nature.
